Thankyou to everyone who made our Black Friday Sale a success, I thank you all for affording me the luxury of being able to pay for Christmas this year without worrying my head off, and for being wonderful customers and supporting my business.
So, going in to the New Year we will be making a whole lot of changes.
First things first, we are going to be clearing our workshop of everything that we don't plan on making any more of. So every corset, skirt, blouse and jacket that we will no longer be making has gone on sale in our Etsy store. There is at least 50% of every one of these items, and some are up to 75% off just to clear the space. We are making absolutely nothing on the 50% off items, and are losing quite a lot on the 75% off items, but needs must when space is at a premium. Once these items are gone, they are gone for good. We will be taking custom orders for these corsets up to the 14th of February, but after that they will no longer be available to buy in any form at all, so get your orders in now if there is something you really, really want. We know all about the post-Christmas lack of funds, so we are happy to accept payment in installments if this helps any of you, just send a convo through Etsy to us and we can set up a payment plan for you in two minutes flat.
Secondly, we will be moving all our made to order corsets over to a new website this year. We want to separate out the two sides of the business, and focus our Etsy store on instant gratification, so that when you take a look at our store, you know you can add anything to your cart and receive it in a matter of days and be running around the house with pleasure at your new purchase. The new website will be the place to go for all made to order items and special requests, plus one-off pieces you want making up. Our Etsy store will be 99% ready to send items, and there will be just four made to order corsets left for sale in our Etsy sale, all of which we promise to have made and ready to ship out to you within a week-not quite instant gratification, but as close as you can get for something made especially for you!

January 31st-End of Sale
February 14th-The very last date for order ANY made to order corsets before all made to order corsets are removed for good, bar the four special corsets with a one week turnaround.

Black Friday Sale
We're going to be running two sales in preparation for Black Friday.
We are currently having to once again move workshop, and will be moving house very soon, and I really loathe having to pack everything up, get it all in a van, take it to the new place and then unload it all at the other end. It's tedious, back breaking and boring, and that's not even mentioning how time consuming it is. And thanks to the amount of steel we put into our corsets, they weigh a whole lot, and the move becomes a hundred times harder when you have to lug a few hundred of these up several flights of stairs to the new workshop. It's not fun and I really don't want to do it.
So that's where our Black Friday sale comes into the equation.
We're currently running a pre-move/early Black Friday sale. We've discounted a huge amount of our corsets that are currently listed in our Etsy store. A lot of these are from our Autumn collection and are 25% off. Half of the corsets were already half price, and you're now getting an additional 25% off these ones, so we're not even covering our fabric, boning, and component costs on these ones, we just really need the space (and don't want to have to break our backs to move them very shortly). We're also offering an added incentive to order this week, as anyone whose order totals $500 or more (before shipping), and orders between now and midnight (GMT) on Thursday the 25th can choose one ready to ship corset of their choice from our shop, up to the value of $120, absolutely free. Your $500 order can include skirts, blouses, jackets, in stock corsets (sale or otherwise) plus made to order corsets. So if you've had your eye on a made to order corset, a few skirts and a ready to wear corset, then you could potentially purchase the made to order corset and the skirts, and receive the ready to wear corset for free!

We've been on 14-16 hour days since August. Last year we thought we could get away with a 10 hour day-big mistake-we were totally unprepared for Black Friday and couldn't do half as much as we wanted, and the sale we ran was a little disappointing to say the least. So this year we've really knuckled down, worked our fingers to the bone, almost sent each other crackers from the stress, late nights and long days, but we think it will be worth it.
We will be offering huge, huge reductions, anything from $50 up to $150 off an item, and we have made tonnes of awesome items just for this sale. There will be shipwrecked rag skirts, one off bustle skirts, jackets, blouses and of course tonnes of corsets. We've trialled several new designs and will be offering these at a large discount on the day, as well as tried and tested popular designs, such as our Belle overbust design, and plenty of longline underbust corsets by request and overwhelming demand.
So on the day, our sale will be starting at midday GMT (London). This equates to 4am LA local time and 7am NY local time according to my calculations and patchy knowledge of time zone differences (as well as a good old Google search). We'll be listing the stock as quickly as possible, but it will take several hours for it all to go live, due to the volume of items we've managed to make thus far, and there will be plenty more made this week. There will only be one of each corset in each size available during the sale, and we won't be making any repeats, so we advise that if you see something you like, then grab it as quickly as you want. We are of course offering combined shipping on multiple purchases, so grab what you want as you see it, and just add to your order as you want and as new items go live.
Even though we won't be offering multiples of corsets, and there will only be one of each size in each design, we have made sure that we've made as large a range of sizes as was possible, so there's a great chance that you'll find something in your size during this sale. To simplify things further, we're listing all items to show the size range they will fit, rather than their actual size, so if a skirt/corset/blouse will fit a 24-28 inch waist, then if your waist measurements is within this range then the item will fit you-no need to worry about choosing the wrong size, you can just grab and go!

SALE TIME!
We're having a clearout of all our old styles which we no longer make, any corsets that there are only a few left of, and all our OOAK and experimental pieces have been discounted. There are a fair few items left at the moment, but they are going quick and won't be around for long.
Some of these pieces were over $250 each previously, and every item is now $100 or less, so you're getting a huge saving.
We're not making any more of these corsets, so grab them while you can. There are also a few skirts in the sale, again in a design which we are no longer making, and there is only one of each colour. These have been discounted from $45 down to $30 each.
We're finishing up on listing the Halloween ranges, and the last couple of ranges will all be made to order-don't worry, this will only take 3-4 days to make and send for any of the outfits, so there is still lots of time.
We do want to warn you though, that from the 17th of October to the 23rd, we are out of the country on holiday, and while our Etsy shop will still be open, we won't have internet access or be able to fulfill any orders during this time. So we really do strongly suggest that if you are wanting a made to order Halloween outfit and you are outside of the UK, we ask that you get your orders in to us for the 12TH OF OCTOBER AT THE LATEST.
Ready made outfits can be ordered up to the 14th and still be sent out before we go. Or if you don't mind taking a risk, we will be leaving the store open while we are away, so you can order right up to the 22nd and we will make and send your order out on the 25th.
We are also able to Fedex last minute orders for an additional fee, so if you can't afford to buy your chosen costume now, left us know in plenty of time that you do intend on ordering, what day you will be paying (or a rough estimate) and we will start on your order in advance so that all you need to do is pay when you are ready and your order can be sent straight out.
We do require some sort of deposit in this instance, but won't require a whole lot upfront, just enough so we know you really do intend on paying after we've worked so hard!
So, there are plenty of sale items left at the moment, a huge amount of customes to choose from, and some more still to come-you can't say we don't spoil you!

More Halloween Outfits
These designs have recently gone up on our Etsy site, and are available in tonnes of ready to send sizes (ranging from a 22" closed waist, up to a 34" waist, so will fit a natural 24-38" waist sizes). All outfits marked as 'ready to send' have already been made up and can be posted out to you straight away.
There is also the option of having the outfit made for you, if your size is currently out of stock, or not one of the sizes listed above-we're more than happy to make you an outfit in any waist size you want, and will only take 5-7 days to make any of the outfits in our store.
We also want to stress that if you would just prefer to purchase certain elements of one of the outfits-such as the corset and any accessories that go with it, or would like the skirts that are sold with the corset outfit, but you don't need the corset, then we're happy to sell all the pieces separately to each other.
On top of that, if you've seen an outfit you like but require it in another colour, or really like the fancy shoulder straps from one corset, but want them adding to a totally different corset, then that's not a problem either. You can't say we're not accommodating!

Halloween Outfits!
We've been stupidly busy, working away these past few weeks to bring you our first Halloween collection. To say we've been in business for several years now and haven't done a Halloween collection so far is not good.
So we decided that this year would be the year (or should I say that I decided, as up until very recently I was used to working completely on my own). Many hours were spent agonising over designs, doing mock ups and tweaking designs until they were just right. This has added several weeks onto the time it should have taken to sort out the collection, but there you go, perfection can't be rushed.
So, there are to be ten different Halloween outfits in total. Ten! That is a fair amount to choose from, and we're even taking custom orders still for one off or bespoke outfits in case none of those ten take your fancy.
The ten designs basically fall into two categories: limited edition outfits and freely available outfits.
The limited edition ones are very limited, and are available in just a single outfit of each size, so one it's gone it's gone, there will be no more made no matter how nicely you ask.
There are only a few of the outfits that fall into that category, but they are pretty special and deserve to be different and unique.
The other outfits will be freely available, so they will be made as many times over as anyone cares to order. If this means that we have to make 50 of the same outfit in the same size then we will, as we promise to have the freely available outfits for sale right up to Halloween.

The other eight outfits will be available in two formats: in stock outfits and made to order. The in stock outfits have already been made up and finished, and are ready to ship out straight away, so you have plenty of time to sort out accessories once your outfit arrives. If you find that the size you wanted isn't available or has sold out then there will also be a made to order listing on Etsy for each outfit. All you need to do is purchase the listing for the outfit you want, let us know your waist measurement and the waist reduction you want, then give us about a week to make up your fabulous outfit, and you're all done!
There's no need to worry about shipping times either, whether your outfit will get to you on time, or how long it will take etc. We only use AirSure shipping for non-UK customers, which is totally trackable and takes 3-5 days on average to get to you from when we post your outfit, to it being handed to you by your local postman.
So that's shipping sorted and no need to worry. We are currently working flat out and will be listing many more outfits in our Etsy store over the coming week, which will be a mixture of in stock outfits that you can just click on and buy, and others which will be made for you. We are going to work really hard to keep as many sizes made and in stock as possible, but even if your chosen outfit is out of stock then just choose the made to order listing and it will be ready and posted within a week. So simple!
That's enough chatter, there are four million things to make and finish off, and it's 1am here, so that means 5 hours of sleep now before we all have to get back up and start again.

New Blouses
We've been asked time and again whether we make tops to wear under our corsets, and have always had to say that no, we don't.
We've been thinking about a line of tops for a while, particularly as the requests have become more and more frequent, so we sat down last month and drafted a few patterns and mocked them up to check the designs. Finally, after rejecting several styles-neckline too high, too low, too boxy, too ruffly-we decided on one that we all liked and made up a few to send out to family to wear and test for us.
After wearing the top for a few days, washing it several times, and checking the fit when worn with skirts, jeans, under corsets, under jackets, we received a resoundingly positive feedback. The top suits all bust shapes and sizes as the bust section is elasticated, the sleeves don't cut into the upper arms as they are also elasticated, and the length sits perfectly on the hips, so can be worn under corsets or on its own with jeans or one of our skirts without looking too long and generally silly.
We've made up a trial run so far to see how they sell, and will make more in the future if they sell well.
We've currently made them up in black and white plain cottons-the staple colours in every girls wardrobe, and versatile enough to go with any of our corsets and skirts.
The tops have been made up in as many sizes as we could make, though there are more of the popular sizes, such as a medium and large as these will fit a larger range of figures, but there are of course several tops in sizes xsmall, small, xlarge and xxlarge.
So, now when asked if we have a top to wear under our corsets, we can proudly say that yes, we do have one and it's awesome, if we do say so ourselves.

In Preparation for the autumn..
We're now rapidly moving from summer into autumn/fall, and the shift in the seasons are bringing lots of exciting new changes for us.
Firstly, we are now a team of three, which is a huge boost from when I was solely on my own doing absolutely everything. We also have a fantastic new workroom, which is four times as large as our old one, and allows us to make a lot more stock, as we now actually have somewhere to keep it all while we wait for customers to snap it all up.
We're currently in the middle of making up a whole load of basic corsets, which are fantastic for anyone new to corsets, or someone who fancies something plain to doll up, as a base for an awesome costume, or something which can be worn over and over and jazzed up with different accessories.
Don't worry, we are making some fantastic new designs, which will include new patterns, new designs, and lots of fab new patterned/printed corsets.
And, for the first time ever, we now have enough hands on deck to bring out a small (but perfectly formed) Halloween collection!
The big reveal is still a little way off while we finish off a few things, but we're sure it will be worth the wait. There will also be matching skirts to totally finish off your outfits, and as always we ship out all in stock items immediately and by AirSure trackable shipping, which is the fastest possible way to receive your goods.
